Farzana Roshan

Farzana Roshan is a Specialist in Informal Learning & Education Support for Stateless and Displaced Families with the Rohingya Maìyafuìnor Collaborative Network (RMCN), currently based in Hyderabad, India.
Born in Myanmar and raised in exile in Bangladesh and India, Farzana brings lived experience and deep community knowledge to her work. She completed her schooling in India and has worked with organisations including UNHCR, Save the Children, MARI Organization, and The Azaadi Project. Within the Rohingya community, she has served in diverse roles as a youth leader, counsellor, teacher, field worker, researcher, and scholar.
Farzana’s work focuses on supporting stateless and displaced families through informal learning, education access, and community-based support beyond formal schooling systems.
In June 2026, she will move to Australia to pursue her undergraduate studies on a fully funded scholarship, with the long-term goal of becoming a social worker.
